The striking cover image for CúChulainn of Eirú Book I – The Isle of Shadows, was created by the talented Irish artist Mark Hill.
Mark’s powerful illustration perfectly captures the dark, mysterious tone of the work , deftly incorporating key elements of the story into one single, arresting image.
The authors were particularly impressed at how Mark portrayed this new version of Setanta – suitably unique, modern and fresh – immediately setting it apart visually from classic folklore depictions.
